      The Felicie Babin Gueymard Memorial Garden and labyrinth at St. Thomas cost an estimated $, Funds were donated by Adolphe G. Gueymard in memory of his mother and by alumnae Ruth Westkaemper.   Three times he called the name “Sam Houston”. Three times Sam remained silent, composed and in place. He was then removed from the Governorship. Sam rose and quietly walked home. In the dark of evening on Ma the Houstons gathered with friends helping them pack to leave.
